WATER TEMPERATURE-- 58 - 60

FISHING METHOD ------- floats, live bait

BAIT/LURES USED ------- herring

NOTES --------------------- Float fished herring in between weed beds. Bass were hungry as were crappie. Caught some nice slabsides, none were smaller then 8inches. The bass were 2-3lbs and were pounding the live bait early. Just waiting for the King to come rushing out of the weeds for a fish bait meal <((>{

NOTES --------------------- A couple of stripers just off Dow's dock early, then just picked perch and some big rock bass, big blue gills and pickerl. A nice day out, missed a few good hits, plenty of action all day.

NOTES --------------------- Tried to troll yesterday, just to many float weeds. Made the switch to live bait today. Had a Striper on in Davis Cove but lost it in the weeds, nothing after that. Byram Cove was great had a limit of Walleye several Perch and a Largemouth.

NOTES --------------------- Got out for a couple hours on a beautiful Friday. Just got 1 Brown Trout but she was a nice one at 23" and 3 Lbs 11 Oz.

NOTES --------------------- Pickerel really on a feed as I caught 7 really quick. Wasted an hour in Byram looking for trout - nada. Came back to Brady and finished with a 4 lb 12 oz walleye.

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Phoebes, Rapalas and assorted Hooley Gooleys

NOTES --------------------- Beautiful day, but the bite was slow. Managed to get 3 Pickerel and 1 Brown Trout. Looking forward to the Pickerel Contest this weekend.

NOTES --------------------- Caught 2 picks trolling rapalas and a brown trout casting a phoebe in Byram. Finished the day catching a 7 lb 4 oz Walleye weighed at Dow's. Caught the last one trolling a small surface rapala.

AREA FISHED ------------- Great Cove, Yacht Club, Lee's Cove, Sharp's Rock

WATER TEMPERATURE-- 53 -56

FISHING METHOD ------- casting lures and anchored with bait

BAIT/LURES USED ------- herring, fatheads, spinners, phoebes, rapalas

NOTES --------------------- Caught a small brown and a 14" brookie casting spinners, but lost a big brown right at the net. Caught 2 nice Crappie, several good pickerel and two largemouths, one of which was over 3 pounds with bait. Lost a huge Crappie by being stupid and trying to lift it into the boat. Never learn!
