FISHING METHOD ------- Bait
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Fatheads and jigs under Bobbers
NOTES --------------------- Took the girlfriend out for some quality bonding time catching Crappies!!! With the water temps on the rise the shallows are super active. Steph and I took our limits of big beautiful Crappie in a short period of time. Constant action. We had gotten orange fatheads from Dows. I firmly believe the orange colored fatheads made the difference with the stirred up water from the wind.

TIMES --------------------- 5pm-7:30pm
CONDITIONS ------------- Mid forties and chilly
AREA FISHED ------------- Brady Bridge/ north end
FISHING METHOD ------- Fishing shallows
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Husky jerks/ jig&bobber
NOTES --------------------- Spring has come and the ice is totally gone!!! I hit the north end feeder streams and The Brady Bridge area the last couple evenings. Had several large perch in the mouth of the feeder streams. I also turned to the shallow coves for Crappie and they are biting too. Still a bit cold for the Crappie, slower bite but a few warm days and they'll be active. The perch are pretty far along with the spawning motions. Caught bass and pickeral in both locations. The open water season has started! With the upcoming weekend forecast with beautiful temps I'm looking forward to getting some time on the water.
