As part of the Knee Deep Club's commitment to the community, the club holds an annual fishing outing for the handicapped. For 1998's event the Knee Deep Club stocked trout into a netted area along the shore of Lake Hopatcong where attendees could fish. This also allowed the trout that weren't caught to be released into the lake to add to the club's stocking program. At the end of an afternoon of fishing, fun, and food the group posed for a picture.
