NOTES --------------------- My buddy Jim and I were out musky fishing today. Fishing was slow, but we did get one. That was really all the action for the day aside from a missed fish early on that was either a musky or another very big fish. Didn't get to see it, just felt the hooks pull free when I tried to set them. The fish I caught missed a 9-inch crank bait and fouled it and then came back after I untangled it and threw right back. It was just shy of 40 inches.
