NOTES --------------------- Take A Kid Fishing! I decided to take my friends son Jules out with me today. I had asked him a few other time to go but he said it wasn't his thing. After I showed him some of the nice stripers and walleyes I had been catching he said OK. The morning only produced 1 small yellow perch and the wind picked up with white caps. We went to a sheltered cove for an hour and I noticed the wind died down a little. So we went back to the Great Cove and double anchored again. We caught a 5 lb. 8 oz. walleye and a 6 lb. striper which I let The 10 year old reel in. What a blast seeing a kid land 2 N.J. Junior Skillful Angler Award qualifying fish back to back.

Allot of real small perch up shallow but never connected with a good school. Got to see Dante the Musky king trolling. Dante I was the guy in the red bass boat. I hope you caught em. All in all a great day to be out on the water. Woodport area was very slow. Amazing how once you went under the bridge the water temp dropped.
