FISHING METHOD ------- Trolling Home Made Flies with the Deck Arm

NOTES --------------------- I finally had a day off to fish in over 2 months. My youngest son had off too so we had a good day on the Big Lake. 2 largemouth, 1 smallmouth that measured 21 inches 2 small rainbows, and 3 average Hybrid up to 3 lbs.

NOTES --------------------- Fished with my wife Courtney on Friday, lots of action. Hit a nice school of Stripers off Sister Island, landed 4 or 5, lost a bunch as well. Headed over to Chestnut and landed a few more. All in all a good day with the Stripers, kept a few for dinner, let the rest go to fight again.

CONDITIONS ------------- beautiful morning, lots of boat traffic even early

AREA FISHED ------------- northern points

WATER TEMPERATURE-- 73

FISHING METHOD ------- anchored, drifting herring; jigs

BAIT/LURES USED ------- herring

NOTES --------------------- Despite all the boat traffic found some willing hybrids. Caught 4 and missed a couple. The biggest about 4lbs. Jigged a couple of perch for dinner.
