CONDITIONS ------------- COLD

AREA FISHED ------------- BRADYS BRIDGE

WATER TEMPERATURE-- cold

FISHING METHOD ------- jiggin

BAIT/LURES USED ------- jigs

NOTES --------------------- We couldn't stand waiting for good ice. We took the privledge of the open water by Bradys Bridge. We were casting on the open side, and was only a couple of minutes before Chris hooked up. It was only small perch and baby walleyes but it was better then not fishing. We totaled 10 or so small yellow perch and 2 walleys that were 8inchs. Small but at least catching something. It seemed to be the walleyes that we stocked earlier in the year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!1

Everyone else caught a bunch of pickerel, some perch, and a few bass. Here's Tommy with one his pickerel and John with his bass (and Amy).

CONDITIONS ------------- mild

AREA FISHED ------------- Landing

BAIT/LURES USED ------- shiners, fat-heads, and jigs

NOTES --------------------- Well Pat had a decent day landing the first fish on the ice this season:

and the first game fish:

and the most fish, I think 6 or 7 perch, the bass, and a bullhead. I was lucky enough at the end of the day to catch a single perch that wasn't even big enough to trip the tip-up.

TIMES --------------------- 8am-noon

CONDITIONS ------------- cloudy and cool

AREA FISHED ------------- main lake/deep

WATER TEMPERATURE-- 40

FISHING METHOD ------- trolled

BAIT/LURES USED ------- deep divers

NOTES --------------------- No ... I wasn't the only boat out there, there was one other. I figured I could get a few hours in before the weather got ugly. Picked up a 41 inch muskie around 10am while trolling in 30ft of water searching for suspended fish. Remind anyone of Wilson from Tool Time?

NAME --------------------- Kevin and Hi-Tech

E-MAIL --------------------- scanlonkevin@hotmail.com

DATE ---------------------- Saturday December 11, 2004

TIMES --------------------- 11AM - 4 PM

CONDITIONS ------------- Overcast, drizzly, winds from the South, cool to cold

AREA FISHED ------------- Main lake; Lee's Cove to Great Cove

WATER TEMPERATURE-- 40's

FISHING METHOD ------- Jigging

BAIT/LURES USED ------- 'gotchas'

NOTES --------------------- It wasn't a banner day for Scan-Tech Marine Salvage. We lost four 'gotchas' along with one lure retriever on some very stubborn anchor ropes. Last Sunday we did much better; using a lure retriever on our snagged lures we brought up two anchors and later that day we pulled up a tackle pouch full of bass plugs and buzz baits that probably flew off of someone's boat (...perhaps just one more reason not to zip across the main lake at 60+ mph in a bass boat). More importantly we pulled in six stripers and three walleye, all of them between 3 and 6 pounds. We had a steady drift from Chestnut Point to the Glass House and stayed between 35 to 51 feet in depth. As usual we saw Webguy trolling around the edge of the basin and towards 3:30 we watched him pull in a Musky between Nolan's Point and Halsey Island. All in all it was good day on the lake.

TIMES --------------------- 9 AM- 4PM

CONDITIONS ------------- sunny & breasy

AREA FISHED ------------- points

WATER TEMPERATURE-- 42

FISHING METHOD ------- Jigging

BAIT/LURES USED -------

NOTES --------------------- We jigged for 2 hours and then Bill hooked a 40" Musky 32' down. We also got 3 Perch, 2 Smallies, and 5 Walleyes the biggest was 26" about 6lbs 6ozs.

DATE ---------------------- 12/5

TIMES --------------------- 10am-4pm

CONDITIONS ------------- mild and breezy

AREA FISHED ------------- main lake

WATER TEMPERATURE-- 44

FISHING METHOD ------- trolling

BAIT/LURES USED ------- crankbaits

NOTES --------------------- I trolled the main basin hitting the drop offs and weedlines around the lake and landed one small muskie, maybe 30 inches or so. Lunker Limo was out in his boat with live bait and got a 5lb walleye while anchored in deep water. The Tracker Boys were out jigging deep water along with Hi-Tech Nitech and Salmon Hunter in another boat. It was pretty slow going all around, maybe it was TOO nice out! (Except for Carl & Bill!)
