FISHING METHOD ------- Trolling Home Made Flies with the Deck Arm, chicken liver and jerk baits.
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Home made Flies, chicken liver, jerk baits.
NOTES --------------------- Myself and Chris Pereira started out early trolling flies for a few hours nothing on the flies so we started tossing jerk baits around points weeds and drop offs which produced several nice small mouth and large mouth bass. The we made a run to Pathmark for some chicken liver we hit a few different spots and chummed with canned cat food. We started catching sunnies at first then white perch then the hybrids moved in and destroyed every single pint of chicken liver we had on board.So if you do try this method be patient and bring enough pints of chicken liver to last through the onslaught of sunnies. The Hybrids will eventually move in and take over. Good luck.
