NOTES --------------------- Fished with my grandchildren in Cabo and managed to get all three fish! The Dorado were dinner for all of us. Unfortnately this Marlin was gill hooked and bleeding too badly to release, it went to the smokehouse. The young man on the left is Stephen VanNess,a club member.

FISHING METHOD ------- anchored

BAIT/LURES USED ------- nightcrawlers, then shad rap

NOTES --------------------- Caught 4 Hybrid bass in 5 minutes. Two simulataneously on worms. Then switched to casting. Ranged from 2 to 5 lbs. About 6 feet down in 28 feet of water. Then stopped fishing and went for a dip with my wife. Nice evening.

Stan Stelmack just hung up Laurie’s new Weather stone outside Dow’s bait shop. Truly a technological miracle. According to Laurie several fisherman have found it to be helpful to determine what the current weather is. (Don’t laugh)

NOTES --------------------- Just wanted to take the girlfriend out in the boat to feed the ducks and ended up throwing a few lines in the water. Didnt take long and i caught i really nice 25 inch pickeral or small pike. I never sure if its a pike or pikeral lol.Was a nice night and happy to see the weed harvesters out and about. Hope they are not finished yet, still have lots to do.

NOTES --------------------- It was a good weekend i was catching stripers. the biggest one was 7lb 1oz and three small ones like 2-4 pounds. i was in the striper contest. the big one was big enough to win the contest first place $408. alot of fun going out and fishing agaisnt some of the best fishman.

NOTES --------------------- This was a Bass of a morning, started at Bertrand with four stripers, nothing real big about 4 to 5 pounds. Chestnut was next with eight Smallmouth, the largest I weighed in at 3lb 6oz. then to Racoon where I had two Largemouth at amost three pounds each.
