NOTES --------------------- Another nice day of fishing. Anyone thinking the season is done have got it wrong. Fish are bitting again very well since the water temperature has lowered. Caught 3 smallmouth on top water and one was around 2 1/2-3 lbs

NOTES --------------------- Only the second time on the lake this year. The big H never comes easy. Picked up three bass 1-2 lbs in first 30 minutes on two docks in wood port area up shallow in dirty water. Thought I had a pattern going but it quickly dissolved. Tried weedbeds and docks off bed bug island and only managed 3 pickeral and several rock bass on docks. Tried cabbage weeds, milfoil, etc but never found the bass. Water conditions were very clear and weeds were very green in main lake.

NOTES --------------------- Good action cathing small mouth between 1 to 2 lbs. Over cast and fishing was good between islands until mist lifted about 9:30 AM then sunny. When sun came up fishing stopped between islands and went to chestnut point and anchored in about 22ft of water and caught some nice smallies all about 1.5 to 2 lb. At about 2 PM the fishing slowed down to a halt.

NOTES --------------------- Well for the first time since the end of august the fish are finally bitting again. Caught 4 large mouth bass, nothing to brag about in size but its good to be catching fish again.
